Lafayette Instrument Company is proud to introduce its new Rat Touch Screen Chamber. Using our unique modular chamber design combined with some of the leading software in cognitive assessment, the new chamber provides space to perform both cognitive and operant experiments. Modular panels covering one side of the chamber allow customers to customize and position levers, pellet feeders, stimulus lights, and more. The opposing side is completely covered by a touch screen monitor with a protective layer allowing for the largest possible stimulus presentation / response area.
The chamber is controlled through Lafayette Instrument's versatile ABET II hardware and Whisker's Control system. Users may run predefined test batteries from ABET II for Touch Software, Model 89505 (Touchscreen training, Reversal learning, Delayed matching) or create their own.
