LABORAS is an advanced system for automatic recognition of behavioural elements of rodents based on measurement of vibrations induced by movement of the animal.

LABORAS has the capability to determine autonomously the following standard behaviours of mice or rats: Locomotion, Grooming, Immobility, Rearing, Drinking, Climbing, Eating

the following special behaviors: Scratching (in mice), Purposeless Chewing (in rats), Hindlimb licking (formalin test in rats)

and the following tracking parameters: position, speed, maximum speed, traveled distance, position distribution and no. of circles.
