The ML870B95 Large Animal ECG/Biopotential System is configured to record ECG as well as biopotentials such as EMG or EEG in animals weighing more than 1 kg using wireless transmitters and receiver. The transmitters feature a 2 kHz sampling rate with each transmitter supplied with an independent transmission frequency (1-12 available frequencies). The user-replaceable batteries enable long-term, continuous monitoring and removes the need to return units for battery replacement. A magnetically activated on/off switch is included in the transmitter to extend the life of the battery. The availability of independent transmission frequencies avoids the need for individual or special housing/barriers for animals. The other advantage with these systems is that the range of the receivers is upto 5 meters.
