Scientists measure pressure and activity in mice using DSI’s PhysioTelR PA series transmitter model PA-C10. The PA-C10 model is the smallest and lightest of the PhysioTelR PA series. Other models in the PhysioTelR PA series transmitter series include PA-C40 for small animals and PA-D70 for large animals.

This model is capable of measuring arterial, ocular, uterine, penile, bladder, pleural and left ventricular pressure. Other parameters such as heart rate, systolic, diastolic and mean pressure are also possible. Similar to all models in the PA transmitter series, the PA-C10 is completely implantable, eliminating the need for flushing and other catheter maintenance issues.
