This CD-ROM contains over 118 clinical EKGs in 9 clinical categories. The tracings are standard 12-lead versions with zoom enlargements of critical areas. In some cases, orthogonal XYZ leads are also included. A detailed interpretation is presented which includes the criteria and the rationale for the diagnosis.
This new version contains an EKG tutorial, a Student Assessment, a section on vectorcardiography and the ability to ZOOM or expand any lead in any EKG for greater detail. This new upgrade is a significant improvement.
The tracings are hyperlinked with 10 discussion topics which include: the specialized conduction system, A-V block, bundle branch block, chamber enlargement, loop rotation, the EKG in CVA, electrolytes, myocardial infraction, tachycardia, and ventricular pre-excitation. This CD-ROM will operate on Windows 3.1, Windows 95/98 or Windows NT.
